Aiming for a possible run in the Breeders’ Cup Dirt Mile in less than two months, three-time Grade 1 winner National Treasure had a workout Sunday morning at Del Mar.
Owned by an SF Racing-led partnership and trained by Hall of Famer Bob Baffert went five furlongs in 1:00.8. The 4-year-old Quality Road colt’s most recent race was his sixth-place finish last month in the Whitney (G1) at Saratoga.
